Long ago, in the valley of Kashmir there
was no custom of playing dramas. A group of people called Bandhs (clowns) used
to perform shows and were famous throughout the valley. The Bandhs would convey
any message to the public through their humour and by funny sayings. They would
go to open place, preferably a public garden and perform a show there. Their shows
or skits had more of jokes, fun, etc. and less of technical skill.
