Please give Solution to simple but confusing puzzle:

Sham S. Misri

A lady buys goods worth Rs.200 from a shop. The shopkeeper selling the goods with zero profit. The lady gives him Rs. 1000 note. The shopkeeper gets the change from the next shop and keeps Rs.200 for himself and returns Rs. 800 to the lady. Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with the Rs.1000 note saying "duplicate" and takes his money back. "How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face?

My solution:

Shopkeeper-1                         Shopkeeper-2                         Customer

i) Rs.1000+ (200 goods)                     Rs.1000                                   Rs. 1000 (Fake)

ii) Rs.1000 + 200                                Rs. 1000(Fake)                       Rs.800 + Rs.200 (Goods)

Iii) Rs.1000 (Fake) + Rs.200            Rs.1000                                   Rs.800 + 200 (Goods)

Rs.1000 (Fake) + Rs.200 Goods = Rs. 800 (Return to lady)

Rs. 1000 Fake note goes to next shop.

Hence, Rs.800 (Return to lady) + Rs.1000 Fake = Rs. 1800 Loss

Or S. Number (iii) above may be explained as:
What is in shopkeeper l’s cash locker?
            A fake note of 1000 (i. e) -1000

How much he gave to the customer?
            Cash Rs.800 (i.e.) -800
Therefore, (-1000) + (- 800) = (-) 1800 i.e. the loss to shopkeeper.

Suppose shopkeeper 1 would have kept Rs. 1000 note with him (without knowing that the currency is fake and have gone to the bank to deposit. There the bank tell him it is fake change it. He would have to take fresh cash from the locker, hence the loss.)

It is the person who has the final fake note is the loser, otherwise,
If the answer is 1000/= Tell me where from the lady got 800/= original?
From where the other shopkeeper got 1000/= original currency.
