Some Verses
I. (The Someshvara)
A fallen spire, a roofless hall,
The Someshvara outlasts them all.
On octagon columns, a world is made,
Where light and shadow play in the arcade.
II. (The Vishnu Temple)
At the complex's end, a lonely sight,
Vishnu's carved columns, holding tight to the light.
A century older, they silently plead,
A testament to a forgotten creed.
III. (The Three Shivas)
Three Shivas rest, in ruin and grace,
Their sanctuaries mark this haunted place.
A stepwell's thirst, a silence profound,
On this ancient, consecrated ground.
