The path of love shown by a boy

Swaminarayan was honoured on an elephant by many kings and rulers. The Nawab of
Junagadh once welcomed him in a grand procession through the city. However, in
his procession a little boy pushed through the crowds and raised his tiny arm,
offering a cucumber to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. What is a cucumber compared to the
gifts and garlands of the royal display? But Bhagwan Swaminarayan reached low,
took the cucumber, and began eating it. Noticeably and thoughtful of the
thousands who surrounded him, Bhagwan Swaminarayan remained absorbed in eating
the cucumber overflowing with boy’s love and devotion.
