Subhan Khar was an iron smith. He would repair the heating stoves, the tin pipes, and roof spouts. He had a skill in the repair of old worn out iron boxes.  He was proficient in making tin boxes for keeping spices etc. Subhan Khar was always ready to do these jobs. In the locality where he lived, he had become very popular. He was poor but very clever. One thing for which he was popular in the locality was that Subhan Khar was a food lover (Yedal). He loved to eat.
